Underwater Portrait Sessions
Underwater Photos Sessions are fun and relaxed. If your child has a breath-hold of a minimum of 3 seconds, we pretty much guarantee we will get wonderful photos of him or her that you will love! Parents, you can join in on the fun and have your photo taken with them as well!
COST $85
SESSION
For 5-7 minutes, we will work with your little swimmer to capture as many awesome shots as possible. We aim to get a variety of images. An instructor will be in the water to help as needed — helping them in and out of the pool, assisting their submersions and reminding them to smile! :)
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Your $85 session fee covers our time together and includes $45 worth of purchase credit to use to buy prints and digital images.
PRIVATE GALLERY
We spend lots of time retouching 7-10 of their BEST photos. This includes removing distracting bubbles, color correcting, cropping, and more. You’ll receive these proofs in a private, password protected gallery.
TURN AROUND TIME
In 2-3 weeks you will receive a text and email notifying you that your private online gallery is ready along with a coupon code to redeem $45 off your order. You can purchase prints, products and digital downloads directly from your gallery.
GOGGLES
Goggles are optional and sometimes preferred! While typically parents prefer their child to go without, in some cases, it’s a better idea to use them – seeing their eyes through a clear lens is often better than them looking squinty-eyed and uncomfortable. We bring goggles to have on hand but bring your own if you think you might need them. Some kids are quite particular about their eyewear!
BABIES
There are various poses we can do based on your baby’s comfort level. One is for the instructor or parent to “zoom” them towards the camera. They can be “passed” from instructor to parent, parent to instructor or parent to parent. You can also submerge and pose with your baby.
SIBLINGS
Sign up 2 kids in one session and we will divide the 5-7 minutes between them and if time allows, we can take photos of them together.
Sometimes getting good shots of TWO kids is much harder than just one so if your kids are not super comfortable in the water, you may want to consider registering for back-to-back sessions so that we can have ample time with both kids. If you’re unsure, send us a message and we can discuss what option is best.
